Hello everyone!
Here are a few updates on the upcoming Mortal Instruments: City of Bones movie!
First of all, they just released AN EXTENDED CLIP OF THE MOVIE! It's only 5 minutes long, but it's sure is INTENSE AS HEELLLLL. Or maybe it's just me... I have not yet seen its video on youtube so unfortunately, you guys need to stick with yahoo videos :D It's okaayy, only 5 minutes long. 5 AWESOME MINUTES
A little bit of sad news though, Lily and Jamie were just informed to have broke up from their relationship. :( whyyyyyy....but then again, they're professionals so let's just wish them all the best and hope that the next movie would be great.
NOW, if you have watched the extended clip above, I would like to discuss some things. JOCELYN FRAY IS A FRIKKIN BADASSS! I am soooo glad that finally, someone in a movie who is going to be rescued is not an "I can't do anything, come and safe me!" person. Intense fighting scene of Jocelyn Fray is a win. The CGI (Computer generated image) for the demon is also AWESOME. SCARY but awesome. I was horrified(a bit) when the dog shape-shifted to a demon....
Now Jamie(Jace) and Lily(Clary). I will not comment much on their acting, but I WILL COMMENT ON WHAT'S HAPPENING. As we readers know, in the book Clary is the one who killed the demon. But in the movie, Jace is the one who killed the demon. First question. WHY CHANGE IT? Second question. WHY IS IT NECESSARY FOR JACE/JAMIE TO SWIPE THE BLOOD OFF THE BLADE SO SLOWLY (a bit disturbing I must say) ON HIS SLEEVE? Third question. WHY THE HEELLL DOES HE APPEAR WITH HIS HOODIE UP WHILE CLEARLY NOBODY CAN SEE HIM AND HE HAS TO BRUSH HIS HAIR BACK WITH THAT SEXY STARE?! I sense fan service I tell you, FAN SERVICE
Another thing is about the soundtrack. A few posts before I posted some snippets from soundcloud regarding the soundtrack. Now, a few days ago, they just released a full version of the song "Magnetic" by Jessie J on youtube. SAY YAAAAAAYYYYY.
